SLiteChat - Free Open Source Lite IM Client for Second Life

SLiteChat is a completely open source text-only IM/chat client for use with Second Life. Use it to talk to your friends without having to load up all of those heavy graphic goodies. Useful for those at-work times.

Features 

You can now turn off and on the Friends and Groups lists. When logging in, you can now specify your starting sim instead of being forced to rez at your set home. You can either enter a starting SLurl or select “My Last Location” in the drop down on the login screen.

    Development work has slowed, updates will hopefully be worked on in the near future. So, we migrated to LANcet chat.com
    Good alternative for office messaging.
