Kadu is free software and open source gadu-gadu protocol instant messenger client for Linux, BSD and Mac. Kadu has become popular among Linux and Macintosh users in Poland, as it offers more functionality than the implementation of Gadu-Gadu in multiprotocol messengers such as Pidgin.

Kadu offers good-looking and functional messenger. It's full Gadu-Gadu protocol compatibility, basic  XMPP support, easy and comprehensive configuration.
Kadu software does not contain advertisements. Since 0.6.5 version there is an unofficial Windows port available. Kadu is built on Qt, so it can be run on all platforms supporting the Qt toolkit.
